Madison School's Mission

The mission of Madison School's staff is to provide each student with an education which improves and enriches their academic skills, commensurate with his/her abilities, so that each student will be empowered with high self-esteem and continuous growth.

We will foster a school climate that ensures good citizenship and attendance, respect of cultural diversity, and high expectations with community support in the belief that all children can learn.

Teachers will use varied and appropriate strategies and materials to meet the needs of all children.



james madison bustJames Madison was an American politician and political philosopher who served as the fourth President of the United States. He was a leader in the 1st United State Congress and the principal writer of the Constitution. He drafted many basic laws while in congress and is responsible for the first ten amendments to the Constitution. He is often referred to as one of the “Founding Fathers” of the United States.

Madison’s Vision for Instruction

Following the CCSS and the fidelity of established programs, teachers will collaborate regularly and share resources and responsibility so that there is horizontal and vertical alignment across grade levels to ensure student success in a positive learning environment.
